Reddish Hair

On 07/26/09...the same eyewitness who saw Carol purchase the chicken at marketbasket and returned an email we sent to her along with a pic of Smith Ervay...stating that Smith Ervay was NOT the gentleman accompanying Carol at the Marketbasket.

She also stated that the investigators were quite focused on the hair color of this gent with Carol and that they were looking for someone with "reddish" colored hair.

was the eyewitness who saw Carol purchase the chicken an employee of Market Basket?  Did she actually talk to Carol that day?

Yes...this was an employee of Market Basket. I can't answer if she spoke to Carol as this info is passed along to me by others who are genuinely researching this info and people I trust very much.

I will ask them this question though for you...thanks for asking...will get back to you as soon as possible.

Market Basket reply

It seems the witness was a cashier...that Carol went through her line at the checkout with the early 30's man. She does not recall if there was any conversation between Carol or the man and there was no conversation between herself and Carol. Hope this helps.

As a possible suspect, not as the murderer.
